I have posted another version of NO ONION NO GARLIC RAW BANANA MASALA. This is also a one with a slight variation but easy and tasty to make as a side dish for sambar and rasam rice. Check out my other RAW BANANA FRY and PAN ROASTED RAW BANANA....
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Coconut oil or sesame oil - 3 tspn
Water - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsn
Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
Peppercorns - 1 tspn
Fennel seeds - 1 tspn
Ginger - 1 inch
Curry leaves - 8
2. Grind the ingredients for it into a coarse mixture and keep it aside.
3. Switch on the IP. Press the saute mode. Add oil, mustard seeds.
4. Add raw banana, salt, turmeric. Mix it for a second.
5. Add the grinded mixture. Mix it. Add water.
6. Close the lid. Press the steam mode for 2 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Quick Release QR (L0:00).
7. Open the lid. Add coriander leaves.
8. Raw Banana masala is ready to serve.
Cooking time: 3 mins

ReplyDeleteThank you for the recipe.I have made it many times.. I get burnt in ip when I pressure cook for 2 mins..what could be the reason..
Thanks for your feedback.Are you doing quick release after 2 mins? Otherwise try for 1 min and quick release after 3 mins (LO:03)
