Horsegram Fruit Salad /Diet Salad (Kollu Kani kalavai)

Salads are always refresh to eat, right?? When it comes super healthy and tasty everyone will love to taste. Here is the super dieting salad with a unique combination of horsegram with crunch fruits. I have already posted few salad recipes - sprouts salad, triple C Salad, ABC salad, millet salad and omega 3 salad.

Cooking time: 30 mins

Serving: 2-3

Ingredients:

Horsegram - 2 tbsn
Apple - 1 (chopped)
Pears - 1 (chopped)
Mint leaves - 4 (chopped)
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Lemon juice - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
Almonds - few (chopped)
Walnut - few (chopped)
Olive oil - 1 tspn
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Wash and soak the horsegram for 2 hrs. Cook in IP in bean / chili mode for 30 mins in low pressure. Then do Natural Pressure Release. Strain the water from horsegram. You can prepare horsegram rasam with this water. Or drink it by adding little salt and pepper as it is.



3. In a wide bowl add olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper. Mix well.

4. Add apple, pears, horsegram, mint and coriander leaves. Mix well.

5. Garnish with almonds and walnut.

6. Enjoy the super healthy and tasty salad.

Notes:

You can add any other crunchy fruits in this salad.
