Double beans helps to lowers the bad cholesterol levels in our body with high soluble fibre content. You can prepare this beans in various ways like sundal, gravy and masalas. I have already posted some gravy recipes.... Check out that too....

Ingredients:
Double Beans / Lima beans - 3/4 cup (soaked overnight or 6 hrs)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Tomato - 2 (chopped)
Ginger - 1 1/2 inch
Coriander powder - 2 tspn
Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tspn
Cumin powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Almonds - 5
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Fennel seeds - 1 tspn
Stone flower - 3 piece
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Oil - 2 tspn
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Grab all the ingredients.
2. Switch on the IP. Press the saute mode. Add oil, cinnamon, fennel seeds, stone flower.
3. Add ginger and saute for 3 seconds.
4. Add onions and saute till it becomes light golden brown.
5. Add tomatoes and saute till it becomes mushy.
6. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric and saute for 30 seconds.
7. Switch off. Cool down completely. Add coconut, almonds. Grind it into a fine paste.
8. Add the paste, soaked double beans, 1 1/2 cup of water, coriander leaves in the inner pot. Mix well.
9. Press the manual for 10 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.
10. Open the lid. Add coriander leaves.
11. Hot double beans gravy is ready to serve.
Notes:
This gravy goes well with poori and rotis.
