Yellow moongdal - 2 tbsn
Grated coconut - 2 tbsn
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
Cumin seeds - 3/4 tspn
Red chilli - 2
Asafoetida - 1/8 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Oil - 1 tspn
Salt to taste
2. Cook the sorghum by keeping the vessel containing it in the inner pot with a cup of water in the IP. Switch on the IP.
3. Close the lid. Press the manual for 25 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.
4. Open the lid. Strain the water. Keep the sorghum aside.
5. While cooking the sorghum cook the moongdal (rinsed) simultaneously with little water about 1/2 cup in a pan. It must be in a biting consistency. It will take about 10 mins. If you have extra water then strain it or pour iniyour rasam, sambar and keep aside.
6. Heat a pan. Add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, asafoetida,curry leaves.
7. Add cooked sorghum. Add salt. Saute for few seconds.
8. Add cooked moongdal. Mix well. Keep it in a low flame until all gets mixed and heated up well.
9. Add grated coconut and coriander leaves. Switch off.
10. Healthy sundal is ready to serve.

1. Grab all the ingredients. Soak the sorghum / Jowar overnight or 8 hrs.2. Cook the sorghum by keeping the vessel containing it in the inner pot with a cup of water in the IP. Switch on the IP.
