SOUP RECIPES
Shallots - 10 (chopped or crushed)
Tomato - 2 (sliced)
Ginger - 1 inch (crushed)
Garlic - 4 (crushed)
Green chilli - 1 (slitted)
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Cumin pepper powder - 1 tspn
Rasam powder - 1 tspn
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Cloves - 2
Cardamom - 1
Fennel seeds - 1 tspn
Mustard seed - 1/4 tspn
Sesame oil - 2 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt to taste
2. Add shallots, green chilli, Ginger, garlic. Saute till the onion becomes slightly color changes.
3. Add tomatoes, Curry leaves. Saute well for few seconds.
4. Add salt, cumin pepper powder, rasam powder, turmeric powder. Saute till it becomes mushy.
5. Add Horsegram powder. Mix well.
6. Add 3 1/2 cups of water. Mix well.
7. Close the lid. Press the manual or pressure cooker mode for 3 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do NPR.
8. Open the lid. Add coriander leaves.
9. Kollu soup is ready to serve.

Horsegram powder - 2 tbsn ( roast 1/4 cup Horsegram in a kadaai, cool down n grind it into powder)Shallots - 10 (chopped or crushed)

Ginger - 1 inch (crushed)
Garlic - 4 (crushed)
Green chilli - 1 (slitted)
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Cumin pepper powder - 1 tspn
Rasam powder - 1 tspn

1. Switch on the IP. Press the saute mode. Add oil. Once it gets heated up add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom.2. Add shallots, green chilli, Ginger, garlic. Saute till the onion becomes slightly color changes.
