Kaima Vegetable Idly (Scrambled / kheema idly)

Ingredients:

Idly - 6 (scrambled)
Soya chunks - 1/4 cup ( soak in hot water for 10 mins, squeeze well. Wash it with cold water and squeeze well. Repeat this for 3 times)
Onion - 1/2(medium size, thinly sliced)
Tomato - 1(thinly sliced)
Peas - 1/3 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Green chilli - 3
Carrot - 1/2 cup (grated)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup (chopped)
Peas - 1/3 cup
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Cumin powder - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Oil - 2 tspn
Fennel seeds - 1 tspn
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tspn
Ghee - 1 tspn
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Heat a kadaai. Add oil and ghee. Add mustard seeds, fennel seeds.

3. Add onions, green chillies. Saute till the onion becomes pink.

4. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes.

5. Add soya chunks, cabbage, carrot, peas and salt. Saute for a minute.

6. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and saute for few seconds.

7. Add tomatoes and saute for a second.

8. Add scrambled idlys. Mix well. Add coriander leaves.

9. Healthy kaima idly is ready for serving.

Notes:

You can even cut the idlys into cubes.
