Idly fry


The WHO has announced IDLY as the best food throughout the world.Whenever you have leftover idlys in your kitchen you can prepare this idly fry in a few minutes.

Cooking time:  less than 10 mins

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Idly - 6 (chopped into cubes)
Sambar powder -  1 tspn
Idly milagai powder - 1/2 tspn
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tspn
Urad dal - 1 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Asafoetida - 1/4 tspn
Sesame oil - 1 tbsn
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Grab all ingredients.

2. Heat a kadaai. Add oil, mustard seeds and uraddal.

3. Once the uraddal becomes golden add sambar powder, idly milagai powder, salt.

4. Add cubed idlys and fry until the outer portion gets nicely coated and roasted.

5. Add asafoetida and curry leaves.

6. Your spicy idly fry is ready to go into your tummy.
