Cooking time: 5 mins
Serving: 2
Ingredients:
Multi millet noodles - 1 pack (175 gms)
Onion - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Garlic - 2 (chopped)
Ginger - 1/2 inch (chopped)
Green chilli - 1 optional (chopped)
Carrot - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Beans - 10 (chopped)
Peas - 1/4 cup (frozen)
Spring onion - green part chopped or coriander leaves chopped
Taste Maker - 1 packet (comes along with the noodles pack)
Oil - 1 tbsn
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Switch on the IP. Add oil. Once it gets heated up add onions, garlic, ginger, green chilli. Saute for few seconds.
2. Add all the vegetables, little salt ( for vegetables). Saute for about 10 seconds.
3. Add the taste maker. Mix well.
4. Add noodles and water. I added about 500 ml. Add the noodles. Don't add more water. The water should cover the noodles.
5. Close the lid. Press the manual or pressure cook mode for 4 mins in sealing position.
6. Once it is done immediately do Quick Release.
7. Open the lid. If you feel little watery press saute mode. Water will be absorbed within few seconds. If you leave as it is it gets absorbed by the heat itself. Add spring onion.
8. Multi millet noodles is ready to serve.
Notes:
The multi millet noodles I brought is Shastha brand. The brand has other variety like pearl millet noodles, finger millet noodles too. Instead of buying the usual instant noodles we can include these millet noodles in our food.
