Bitter gourd helps to lowers blood sugar levels in diabetic people, treats respiratory disorders like asthma, treats skin problems like anti aging. Just we are going to saute with few spice powders to make it a dry version that can pair with a sambar, rasam and curd rice. Here is the recipe goes....
Red chilli powder or sambar powder - 2 tspn
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Sesame oil - 3 tspn
Salt to taste
2. Heat a kadaai. Add oil. Once it gets heated add bitter gourd. Saute for few seconds.
3. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder. Mix well.
4. Saute in a medium flame until it gets roasted well.
5. Add Curry leaves.
6. Switch off. Bitter gourd fry is ready to serve.
Cooking time: 15-20 mins
Serving: 2-3
