This soup is an easy, healthy and refreshing that can be prepared in few minutes with very few ingredients. And also a zero oil protein rich soup with sprouted moongdal and sago as a natural thickening agent. So need of adding cream or cornstarch. Both sago and moongdal acts as a natural coolant to our body. Check out my other SOUP RECIPES....
Sago (Sabudana / javvarisi) - 1/4 cup (dry roast the sago for few mins until it becomes deep white)
Tomato - 1 (medium, grind into a fine paste)
Frozen peas - 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Pepper powder to taste
Salt to taste
2. Add all the ingredients except pepper powder and coriander leaves into the pot.
3. Add 1 cup of water. Mix well.
4. Close the lid. Press the manual for 5 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.
5. Open the lid. Add pepper powder and coriander leaves.
6. Yummy and healthy sprouts tomato soup is ready to serve.
Adding peas is optional. If you like to add other vegetables you can add that too.
