How to cook white and brown rice together in IP

Many of us dont prefer eating the brown rice because of it's nutty flavour (I personally like that nutty flavour). Once you cook this method of half and half brown rice and white rice method you will definitely include in your diet regularly. I have already posted the same recipe in pressure cooker method.

Cooking time: 20 mins

Serving : 2

Ingredients:

Sonamasoori rice - 1/2 cup (1 cup - 160 ml)
Brown rice - 1/2 cup
Water - 2 3/4 cup

Method :

1. Take the rice like this. Soak it for about 2 hours.

2. Rinse the rice and add the water. Place the vessel containing the rice over the trivet with 1 1/2 cups of water in the inner pot.

3. Close the lid. Press the manual for 20 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.

4. Open the lid and enjoy the rice with any curry.

Notes:

If you need grainy rice add 2 1/2 cups of water.
