Tomato Ginger Chutney

There is a wide variety in making chutneys. This is a super tasty chutney with ginger flavour that can goes well for any breakfast menu.

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Tomato - 1 1/2 (sliced)
Ginger - 1 tbsn (finely chopped)
Coconut - 3/4 cup
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
Red chilli - 4
Sesame oil - 1 tspn
Salt to taste

For Seasoning:

Oil - 1 tspn
Uraddal - 1/2 tspn
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
Curry leaves - few

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Heat a pan. Add oil, cumin seeds, ginger and red chillies.

3. Add tomatoes, salt and saute till it becomes mushy.



4. Add coconut and mix well, Switch off.

5. Once it cools down grind the above mixture into a smooth paste.

6. Seasoning can be done now.

7. Serve the chutney for the soft idlys or dosas.
