Phulkas are rotis made without oil. The side dish that can be served to these rotis can be like a curry/gravy consistency so that the sukka rotis can be soaked in that will be more tastier while eating. If anyone requests me some recipe to post in my blog I gain more energy to do happily my job. So here is the recipe dedicated to my brotherly friend...😄😄
Oil - 2 tspn
Salt to taste
Water as needed
2. Mix salt to the flour. Add water little by little and knead a smooth dough. Let it sit for 1-2 hrs.
3. Take a portion of dough and flatten it like a round sheet using a rolling pin.
4. Heat a tawa. Place the flattened dough sheet. Cook for few seconds. Flip it to the other side. Cook until few brown spots appears.
5. Switch on the gas stove. Place the half cooked roti on the flame directly. It will puff up like a poori. Flip the other side for few seconds. Do the same with remaining dough.
6. Phulkas are ready to serve.
While rolling the sheets flatenned it should not be more thin nor thick.
Cooking time: Each phulka 2 mins

Wheat flour - 2 cups (yields 10 rotis)Oil - 2 tspn

Notes:
Apply ghee after cooking each phulka if you wish.While rolling the sheets flatenned it should not be more thin nor thick.
