Simple potato fry

This recipe can be prepared in few minutes with simple ingredients that we always have in our kitchen. Frying boiled potatoes is healthier than raw potato fry. So you can enjoy this kind of potato fry in your diet without guilt.

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Potato - 2 (small, boiled, chopped into big chunks)
Garlic - 2 cloves (crushed)
Red chilli powder - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
Oil - 3 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Heat a pan. Add oil, cumin seeds and crushed garlic. Saute till the garlic becomes light golden brown.

3. Add potatoes, salt, turmeric. Saute for a minute.

4. Add red chilli powder and pepper powder. Fry well until the masala coats well.
Add curry leaves.

5. Now the potato fry is ready to serve.

Notes:

This potato fry goes well with Sambar, rasam and curd rice..
