Grilled chicken breast


Most of us like to have grilled chicken when we go to restaurants.  Today am going to prepare this recipe both in oven & tawa.  Personally i like the taste of tawa grilled chicken.

Cooking time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

Chicken - 6 slices (cut into thin slice,i had put slits over the chicken so that the masala penetrates nicely)
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Coriander powder - 1 tspn
Jeera powder - 1/2 tspn
Ginger garlic past - 1/2 tspn
paprika powder - 1 tspn
Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
Red chili powder - 1/2 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
Kasuri methi - 1 tspn
Olive oil - 1 tbsn for marination
Curd - 1/4 cup
Lemon juice - 2 tbsn
Salt to taste

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients and make a paste. Apply the paste to the chicken slices and leave it for 3 hrs.



Oven method:

1. Preheat the oven for 350 degree F.

2. Place the marinated chicken slices in cast iron pan greased with a tbsn of oil.
3. Bake it for 10 min and broil for 5 min to get roasted.

4. Chicken is done here.

Tawa method:

1. Heat an iron pan with 2tbsn of oil.
2. Add the chicken slices in high flame.

3. After 5 mins flip the pieces and cook for another 5 mins.

4. Cook until it becomes crispy & roasted.
5. Now the chicken is ready for serving.

Notes:

Overnight marination tastes even better.  The time i have mentioned is for breast part since it cooks faster.  If you are using any other parts time varies.
