Kaalaan varamilagai varuval (Red chilli Mushroom Saute)

A simple varuval / saute that can be done with very few ingredients which can be served as a side dish for sambar, rasam and curd rice.

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Mushroom - 400 gms (chopped into big chunks)
Onion - 1 (big, chopped into cubes)
Red chilli - 15 (broken)
Curry leaves - a handful
Coconut - 1 tbsn
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Sesame oil - 4 tspn
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Heat a kadaai. Add oil, red chillies.

3. Add onions and saute till it turns pink.

4. Add mushrooms, turmeric, salt and saute well in high flame till it gets dry.

5. Add curry leaves. Saute well. Add coconut.

6. Mushroom varuval is ready to serve.
