This is a super refreshing soup for cold rainy days that can be done easily in a jiffy because it doesn't require any sauteing. Just dumping all the ingredients into the pot, cook and enjoy. Combination of tomato and ginger with barley makes it not only delicious but also a healthy diet soup.
Tomato puree - from 2 medium size, grind it in a mixer jar
Ginger - 1 1/2 inch
Carrot - 1/4 (chopped)
Beans - 5 (chopped)
Peas - 1/4 cup
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
Italian seasoning - 1/2 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt to taste
2. Throw all the ingredients except coriander leaves into the pot. Add 1 1/2 cups of water.
3. Close the lid. Press the manual for 10 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.
4. Open the lid.
5. Garnish with coriander leaves. Yummy hot barley tomato ginger soup is ready.
