This is a healthy soup that includes barley which helps to reduce blood sugar levels, obesity and helps to lowers risk of cardiovascular problems. Horsegram as you all know that lowers the bad cholesterol and many people who likes to reduce their weight prefers to include horsegram in their diet. So combining these two important ingredients with few vegetables will definitely helps you in dieting.
Horsegram - 1 1/2 tbsn (roasted)
Carrot- 1/4 cup (chopped into big chunks)
Beans - 5 (chopped)
Winter melon - 1/2cup (chopped into big chunks)
Zucchini - 1/2 (chopped)
Cucumber - 1 (small, chopped)
Tomato - 1 (medium size, chopped)
Garlic - 2pods (chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch (chopped)
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Cumin powder - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Lemon juice - 1 tspn
Water - 2 cups
Salt to taste
2. Add all the ingredients except coriander leaves, lemon juice into the pot.
3. Close the lid. Press the soup mode which shows 30 mins High Pressure HP in sealing position. Then do NPR (Natural Pressure Release).
4. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves.
5. The wholesome diet soup is ready to serve.
Choice of vegetables is purely up to your choice.

Notes:
Roasting barley and horsegram is optional. You can press the saute mode first. Dry roast barley n horsegram together, then you can add all the ingredients into the pot.Choice of vegetables is purely up to your choice.
