Lunch box mushroom rice

This recipe will be very helpful for those who will be frustrated mainly what dish to be packed for lunch today. It can be prepared very easily and also very yummy to eat.

Ingredients:

Cooked rice - 3 cups
Mushroom - 3 cups (thinly sliced)
Onion - 1/2 cup (thinly sliced)
Ginger - 1 inch (finely chopped)
Garlic - 3 (big, finely chopped)
Green chilli - 1 (chopped)
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
Fennel seeds - 1 tspn
Oil - 1 tspn
Ghee - 1 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Heat a kadaai. Add oil, ghee, fennel seeds.

3. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute till it becomes light golden brown.

4. Add onions and saute till it becomes light brown.

5. Add mushroom, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, pepper powder and garam masala. Saute till all the water content for mushroom evaporates well and it should become a dry masala.

6. Add pepper powder and curry leaves.

7. Add cooked rice and mix well. Close it with a lid in a medium flame so that the masala infuses to the rice well.


8. Garnish with coriander leaves. Hot and yummy mushroom rice is ready.

Notes:

You can try the same with basmati rice too.
You can add peas also in this recipe.
You can add either ginger or garlic more and avoid the other.
