Instant Pot Kozhi Chaaru (chicken soup in IP)

This recipe is a simple method with pepper and cumin seeds that gives you a nice  relief during cold and fever.

Cooking time: 10 mins

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Chicken with bones - 250gms
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Sesame oil - 1 tbsn
Salt to taste

To Grind:

Shallots - 8
Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
Peppercorns - 1 tspn
Cinnamon - 1/4 inch
Cloves - 2
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic - 3
Green chilli - 1
Curry leaves - 10

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Grind the ingredients for it into a fine paste.

3. Switch on the IP. Add oil. Add chicken, salt and turmeric. Saute for a minute.

4. Add the paste and saute till the raw smell goes.

5. Add 2 cups of water.

6. Close the lid. Press the manual mode for 5 mins in High Pressure HP in sealed position. Then do Natural Pressure Release NPR.

7. Open the lid. Add coriander leaves.

8. Enjoy the hot soup.
