Easy Shrimp kadaai roast (Iraal roast)

This is a simple and easy recipe that can be done in less than 10 mins. It can be served as a starter and also a side dish for sambar, rasam rice.

Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Shrimp - 200 gms
Onion - 1 (big, finely sliced)
Red chilli - 2
Green chilli - 2
Curry leaves - few
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Coriander powder - 2 tspn
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Cumin powder - 1/2 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala - 1/4 tspn
Turmeric - 1/4 tspn
Salt to taste
Oil - 4tspn

Method:

1. Grab all the ingredients.

2. Mix ginger garlic paste, all the spice powders and salt in shrimp and keep aside for one hour.

3. Heat a kadaai. Add oil. Add onions, red chillies, green chillies. Saute until it gets golden brown.

4. Add shrimp mixture. Saute in a high flame until it gets cooked and roasted well.

5. Add curry leaves.

6. Delicious shrimp kadaai roast is ready now.

Notes:

You can do the same recipe in chicken breast pieces.
Shrimp cooks faster. Over cooking results in rubbery shrimp.
